Hostel Don Martin
We took a morning taxi (all feeling a bit hungover) down the bumpy track the was the road to Playa Mediras, with the 5ish mile journey taking about half an hour. After being dropped off at the bottom of a hill, we were told it was a short walk up and down to the beach. The short walk seemed to last forever and we were all disgustingly sweaty by the time we arrived at the beach.
The beach was beautiful with less than 10 people on it, a surf shack with a few beds and a tent with a bbq. As normal we split to find accomodation, with Jonny and myself volenteering. With the few beds in surf shack taken we walked down the beach towards where we had been informed there was more places. The first place we tried was another surf shack up on the cliff where the only person was cutting up mango for a monkey, unfortuantley also full, so we continued on down the beach. After climing over some rocks and walking to the end of the next beach we found Don Martins, a small hotel with dorm rooms of 4 beds- perfect.
